New Bothell Business Offers Coffee, Beer, Wine and Networking ...

If you want a side of networking the next time you purchase your latte, consider Bothell's newest Main Street gathering place ? Brew.

"If you?re in the area, just stop by and we?ll introduce to whoever is here," said owner Eric Metzger. "It?s not what you know, it?s who you know."?

Metzger has taken that philosophy to the coffee shop from his contracting business, WeHoneyDo, which is now also located in the back of the building at 10035 Main Street.

A lack of space for his previously home-based WeHoneyDo business led him to find the building. And the fact that retail was a required component of having a business on Main Street fit perfectly with his daughter's goal of opening a coffee shop.

Brew is a definitely a coffee shop ? and they currently offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Still in the works are plans to offer wraps, soups and pizzas, and a small kids menu. What makes this business a little different that the average coffee shop, however, is the addition of local wine and beer.?

"We want our cafe to be a gathering place," said Metzger's daughter Carissa, who runs Brew. "People can come and just watch the news, sip on a white chocolate mocha, have a glass of wine for girls night out, or have a beer."

Between Brew and the WeHoneyDo office is a large meeting room for networking events, company meetings and/or workshops. It's open to the public and those interested should call Brew at 425-686-7670 to reserve the space.?
